The stock trade of Hubei Sanonda has been suspended since 17 Feb., 2012, when ChemChina started to conduct a large reorganization of the company. So far, the reorganization plan still remains mysterious due to two companies’ rejection of telling the details.

However, when Makhteshim Agan Industries (MAI) made a tour of observation to Hubei Sanonda on 29 March, 2012, the public started to believe the speculation that ChemChina would relocate the production bases of MAI to China and choose Hubei Sanonda as the acceptor.

In the next step after the tour, MAI will make an in-depth evaluation analysis of the results of the observation tour this time to make sure that Hubei Sanonda owns the capability to accept the relocated production bases from MAI.

On 5 April, 2012, the Ministry of Agriculture of China (MOA) releases Notice No. 1744 announcing that it will stop accepting and approving the application for field trial and registration of glyphosate SL mixtures with content lower than 30% from the release date of the notice.

MOA is revising the registration policy for bio-pesticides to encourage the development of the industry.

In order to stabilize the output of grain, Chinese Government has released a series of financial policies to increase peasants’ planting enthusiasm in 2012.

Pesticides being banned to be used on tea are traced in some tea products of some famous tea companies in China.

Pesticide companies in China are now seeking for new performance growth points to help themselves tide over the continuous downturn in domestic pesticide industry, some of which, however, have made poor investment.

Though Q1 is a slack season, there are great increases in some pesticides’ ex-factory prices, including acetamiprid 95% TC, imidacloprid 95% TC, glyphosate 95% TC and prochloraz 97% TC.

MAI makes an observation tour to Hubei Sanonda on 29 March, 2012, aiming to seek a cooperation chance of relocating production bases to China.

Noposion plans to expand in agricultural machinery industry by increasing the registered capital of Shandong Qutii with Maruyama.

The construction of Jiangsu Limin’s new production base is predicted to be completed in June 2012.
